Return to Monkey Island, Ron Gilbert’s surprise and thrilling return, is the continuation of his classic adventure games The Secret of Monkey Island (and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge), which were co-developed together with Lucasfilm Games.

Guybrush Threepwood has been a long time since he was last in an intellectual battle with LeChuck who is his enemy from the world of zombies. The woman he loves most, Elaine Marley, has turned her focus away from being a leader, and Guybrush himself is lost and unhappy, never having found that Secret of Monkey Island. The young, hip pirates led by Captain Madison has sacked the guards of the past. Melee Island is now unstable and Stan who is well-known as a businessman is sentenced to prison for “marketing-related violations”.

Speak to your former as well as new pals on familiar islands that are now under a new and dangerous administration. In the next episode, you’ll venture out to sea and discover the unknown while trying to find solutions to difficult issues. Clever puzzles, bizarre situations and devastating counter-attacks will be all that stands between Guybrush and the glory of his work.
